The Kahuku Apps Scholarship Program is an educational, project-based learning opportunity designed for students who want hands-on exposure to real-world software development, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Participants work alongside the Kahuku Apps team on guided projects while building practical skills in software development, design, and technology-driven solutions. This program emphasizes learning, mentorship, and professional growth in a flexible, student-friendly environment.

Winter 2026 Applications Now Open

This program is not a formal internship or employment opportunity and does not require CPT, OPT, enrollment in an internship course, university approval, or a reduced academic course load.

Coding

Scholarship Recognition

Select participants may be awarded an educational scholarship of up to $500 in recognition of exceptional engagement, growth, and contribution throughout the program.

Scholarship awards are not tied to hours worked and are provided as educational recognition, not compensation.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate on guided software development or technology projects

Gain exposure to real client and product challenges

Learn modern development tools and workflows

Participate in mentorship, feedback, and skill-building sessions

Build experience that strengthens resumes and portfolios

Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 6–12 hours per week to learning activities, collaboration, and project engagement during the program.
