Who We Are, Our Story
Kahuku Apps started on the North Shore of Oahu, inspired by Kahuku, a beautiful community where people support each other, and the spirit of Aloha thrives.
Built by a group of college grads and a professor who believed local businesses deserved better tools and data to connect with their customers. What began as an idea in a classroom quickly became a real solution for real businesses.
In just three months, we went from serving one shop in Hawaii to supporting clients across the country. Now we are coast to coast, from the islands to the East Coast, but we have never forgotten where we came from. We still believe in showing up, staying human, and providing data and building technology that feels simple, personal, and rooted in community.

Alan Pineda, CEO
Born in Mexico and now living in Hawai‘i, he is a husband, dad, and lifelong learner with a passion for creating things that matter. With a background in marketing and a love for simple, useful tech, he brings a personal touch to every project. He believes in being present, building with care, and treating people right, both in business and in life.
Noah Jacobs, COO
Born in Virginia and now helping lead Kahuku Apps, Noah is passionate about building smart systems that save time, cut costs, and scale impact. He has developed AI agents used by over 10,000 users and helped manage fundraising campaigns that have raised more than 1.4 million dollars for nonprofits. With a background in marketing, automation, and business strategy, he brings both heart and efficiency to everything he works on.
Noel Portugal, CTO
Originally from Mexico and now living in Kahuku, Noel is a husband, dad, and seasoned technologist with more than 25 years of experience. He has worked with some of the biggest names in tech, but his heart is in building tools that help people. Quietly brilliant and deeply thoughtful, Noel brings wisdom, calm, and world class skill to every project.
